For the first date of Group B of the Qatar 2022 World Cup, the United States (USA) and Wales faced each other at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium with a 1-1 result, being the first tie of this tournament.

With this result, England is the leader of Group B with three points, followed by the USA and Wales with one unit and, in last position, Iran with zero points.
