“These events will be presented by the wind flows that will favor the easy development of cloudiness associated with storms and significant downpours,” indicated the National Directorate of Hydrometeorology of the Electricity Transmission Company of Panama.

Similarly, Sinaproc confirmed that days with accumulated rainfall that will reach between 30 millimeters (mm) and 80 (mm) or liters of water per square meter are expected.

The National System of National Protection urged the population to take precautions against possible flooding of rivers, streams, and possible effects on urban and rural areas due to flooding.

Among other preventive measures highlighted by the civil entity, they highlight being attentive to the updates of the prevention communications, as well as being extremely careful with the flooding of the rivers and the fallen electrical poles or systems.
