Johns Hopkins University in the United States reported this Monday that 446,399,672 infections and 6,316 deaths from Covid-19 have been officially reported worldwide since the start of the pandemic.

Through its website, the center pointed out that the United States heads the list of the most affected countries, with almost 79 million cases and more than 958 thousand deaths. In turn, they are followed by Brazil, India, Russia, Mexico, Peru, the United Kingdom and Italy.
However, in the last 28 days, the country with the highest number of cases is Germany, followed by Russia, South Korea, the United States, Brazil, France, Turkey, Vietnam and Japan. In general, in this period, more than 50,700,000 positives and 256,000 deaths have been confirmed.
