Creole artists, musicians and artists from other genres came together on Saturday November 19 at the Chílcanos Restobar Restaurant in Virginia to pay a well-deserved tribute to the percussionist, singer and composer Leandro Reyes for his 50 years of artistic life.

“Black and Creole music and its interpreter Leandro Reyes made the singer’s friends vibrate, among whom were musicians, and singers and dancers from the middle who met and filled the venue.

The children of Leandro Reyes, Susan and Leo, also joined the tribute for the 50 years of their father’s artistic career, to whom they expressed their admiration and chorused.

After a rich artistic career of 41 years in his native Peru, where he was a director and formed several successful groups.

Leandro Reyes arrived at the DMV 9 years ago and with him brought his art and immediately became an important reference in Creole music and in all activities spreading the genre.
