Spanish Prosecutor files investigations against King Emeritus | News
The Spanish State Attorney General's Office reported this Wednesday that the investigations into the fortune of former monarch Juan Carlos de Borbón I were filed, after not having the necessary evidence to prosecute the former Spanish head of state.

According to the Prosecutor's Office, the three judicial investigations into the emeritus king, Juan Carlos I, examined the origin of the commissions for the alleged award to Spanish companies of the works of the AVE to Mecca, the use of credit cards financed by a businessman Mexican; as well as the possibility of a monetary fund hidden in a tax haven.
In this sense, the Chief Anti-Corruption Prosecutor, Alejandro Luzón, signed on March 2, 2022, two decrees corresponding to the three judicial analyses, for which the investigations were closed after almost three years of starting the process.
Sexual abuse: 1-3 years.
Rape: 6-12 years.
Homicide: 10-15 years.

“In compliance with what was agreed in the Archive Decrees, I will transfer the content of these to His Majesty the King D. Juan Carlos in the next few days; After his study, next week the corresponding assessments will be made, also echoing the decisions that Mr. Juan Carlos may make, which I will communicate in a timely manner, ”said the judicial authority.
Likewise, the Public Ministry stressed that in the last three years, the former monarch, Juan Carlos de Borbón I, covered up around 77 million euros (85.47 million dollars); of them 65 million euros (72.15 million dollars) financed by Saudi Arabia.
It should be noted that the judicial proclamation gives the possibility to the emeritus king, Juan Carlos de Borbón I, to return to the Spanish nation, after having established himself in Abu Dhabi, capital of the United Arab Emirates, since August 3, 2020.
