Russian authorities reported on Wednesday that the new attacks by the Ukrainian army against the Russian city of Belgorod, located 40 kilometers from the border, caused one victim and six homes were destroyed.

The governor of the Belgorod region, Viacheslav Gladkov, published that: “According to the report of the head of the Belgorod region, Vladimir Pertsev, in Solokha 6 homes, a car and a power line were damaged.”

However, Gladkov pointed out that one victim is reported while the operational services are working on repairing the damaged infrastructure.

In this regard, the governor of the administrative center of the Oblast noted that: “The head of the settlement is now in his place, the head of the district, Vladimir Pertsev, went to see him. There is information about a victim.”

At the same time, he specified that a building next to a house “was completely destroyed.” However, he stated that the damaged power line of the Gora Podol substation has already been restored.

On May 11, attacks by Ukrainian troops against the village of Soloji in the city of Belgorod were reported, leaving one person dead and six people injured.

The authorities of the Russian city declared a level two anti-terrorist alert on April 11, which was extended until May 25, suspending flights to and from the region.
