“These are the geopolitical and ideological decisions of the Western power blocs against the rest of the emerging powers,” President Maduro said when qualifying and explaining the boomerang effect.

Advocating for the lifting of the sanctions illegally imposed by the US on Russia, Venezuela, Cuba, Nicaragua and all the peoples of the world, the head of state specified that this demonstrates the arrogance of the West.

Likewise, the head of state denounced that “they use the dollar to twist the arms of the world as well as the banking system” and stressed that the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and other multilateral organizations are at the service of the power struggle of those who rule the world.

Actions from Venezuela

Similarly, the Venezuelan president reported on a plan of economic measures and national production to strengthen the national economy in order to neutralize the existing inflationary process in the world.

The head of state specified that after the illegal sanctions imposed by the United States on Russia, the nation is preparing a “Protection Plan for the people of Venezuela”, which consists of increasing food production.

Considering that “the first independence that a people that wants to be free and sovereign must have is economic independence,” Nicolás Maduro said that this anti-boomerang plan aims to promote national production through tariff and non-tariff policies.

Likewise, it is contemplated to train the people as educated consumers to combat speculation and promote the production of legumes and oils, which are products that are currently difficult to access in the international market.

For her part, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, emphasized that one of the actions to mitigate the inflationary situation is to strengthen national production and enhance its care.
