The 2022 edition of the NBA All-Star Game will be held in Cleveland, home of the Cleveland Cavaliers. This season, as in previous years, the fans select their favorite players and then the captains choose their quintets.
LeBron James will visit the team that saw him born in the NBA and will attend his 18th All-Star Game in his career, and he is the player with the highest number of votes in the 2022 edition.
King James is the most voted player by fans after the results of the third popular vote count were made public, which represents 50% of the final vote in the absence of journalists and the players themselves
James has managed to come back in this third wave and has passed Stephen Curry with a total of 6,827,447 votes while Curry has 6,019,418 votes.
On January 27, the starting quintets of each Conference will be announced. LeBron will be the most voted player for the sixth consecutive season and for the ninth time in his career, which equals Michael Jordan’s record as the player who has been the most voted for the great event of the stars.
The Lakers star has outvoted the aforementioned Stephen Curry (6,019,418), who would accompany him in the starting lineup alongside Nikola Jokic (4,132,522), Andrew Wiggins (2,644,571), and Ja Morant (2,623,359).
The Lakers forward has records of 28.8 points, 7.6 rebounds and 6.4 assists at 37 years of age, which reflects why he is one of the most voted for the all-star from Cleveland.
