Grammy awards postponed indefinitely amid omicron concerns

The annual Grammy Awards have been postponed indefinitely due to uncertainty surrounding the omicron variant of COVID-19, the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences and CBS said Wednesday.

“We hope to celebrate the biggest night in music at a future date, which will be announced soon,” the statement said.

The music awards ceremony was scheduled for January 31.
