Foreign Ministers will chair III Venezuela-Turkey Mixed Commission | News

The foreign ministers of Venezuela, Félix Plasencia, and of Turkey, Mevlüt Cavusoglu, will chair the III Mixed Commission between both nations that will be held with the aim of strengthening cooperation in different sectors, official sources reported.

The Venezuelan Minister of Foreign Affairs indicated on his account on the official Twitter network that on Thursday he received the Turkish Foreign Minister at the Simón Bolívar International Airport, who arrived with his official delegation “to carry out the III Mixed Commission Venezuela-Turkey, destined to deepen our strategic relationship.”
The Venezuelan Foreign Ministry stressed in a statement that “the presence of the Turkish Foreign Minister confirms the intention of Caracas and Ankara to strengthen bilateral cooperation ties in health, economy, agriculture, fishing, education, tourism and sports.”

The agency mentioned that, for his part, Cavusoglu expressed Turkey’s will “to strengthen the cooperative relationship with the Bolivarian nation through participation in different bilateral meetings.”

Plasencia also announced that on Thursday he participated with his Turkish colleague in a business round at the International Center for Productive Investments (CIIP) with companies from Turkey and Venezuela, “taking stock of joint actions to be taken to strengthen trade and investments”.
