F1: They announce the date for the 2023 Mexican Grand Prix | Tweet


Formula 1 announced this Tuesday the calendar for the 2023 seasonand with it the date of the desired Mexican Grand Prix to be held in the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez from CDMXfrom Friday 27 to Sunday 29 October next year.

The 2023 season, which will start on March 5, is the last in which Mexico has a contract with F1Until now It is unknown if there will be any renewal.

The next campaign will 24 races instead of the 22 held this year. Circuits will be released in Las Vegas, Miami and Austin, all American cities. On the other hand, F1 severed its relationship with the French GP in recent months.

Mohammed Ben Sulayempresident of the FIA, stated:

The presence of 24 races on the 2023 FIA Formula One World Championship calendar is further evidence of the growth and appeal of the sport on a global scale.

The Bahrain Grand Prix will open the World Championship on March 5, while the Monaco, on May 28, it remains on the calendar until 2025.

Lastly, the statement from the F1 added:

The 2023 F1 calendar will avoid coinciding with the 24 hours of Le Mans as part of the WMSC members’ efforts to optimize all world championship race schedules.
