The Al Nassr club confirmed the transfer of Jonathan “Cabecita” Rodríguez to América. It is a fact that the Uruguayan will wear blue-cream. And what for many is a betrayal and even a breach of the gentlemen’s agreement between the Eagles and the Blue Cross, for Jaime Ordialesmanager of La Maquina, is not.

Ordiales assured for Adrenalina that América was not disloyal with the hiring of Rodríguez, since he is a player who has shown remarkable conditions in Liga MX, implying that it is understandable that he is wanted by his rivals.

In fact, the director of La Maquina regretted that Rodríguez ended up in América: “They (America) at the time are betting on a player who has a goal, which he demonstrated in Cruz Azul for many moments of his career, many positive things… unfortunately for us, maybe he will be getting there“, he expressed.

Ordiales added that Cruz Azul sought the possibility of bringing “Cabecita” back, but that his agent was blunt and assured that the Uruguayan striker would probably go to the MLS, where there are currently more clubs with the financial capacity to pay for his salary.

And finally, in an unexpected turn of events, he will end up on the America.
