Yasmín Esquivel continues to have precautionary measures

Lawyer Alejandro Romano Rascón, legal representative of the minister, explained, through a statement, that the protection granted by the Fourth District Judge in Civil Matters in Mexico City, Eduardo Hernández Sánchez, was in relation to an agreement of the Local Civil Judge.
“The amparo ruling issued by the District Judge only declares illegal an agreement of the local Civil Judge issued after the precautionary measures that protect Minister Yasmín Esquivel.
“This agreement of the local judge, challenged by the UNAM via amparo, only declared the finality of the precautionary measures, because the University itself did not appeal them in a timely manner in the local trial,” explained the litigant.
The Sixtieth Civil Judge of the Mexico CityJosé Manuel Salazar Uribe, decided to leave various precautionary measures firm in favor of the minister, because none of the parties had filed appeals.
“The District Judge never addressed whether or not the precautionary measures issued by the local judge were correct, since such measures were never questioned by UNAM,” said lawyer Romano Rascón.
In his statement, the legal representative of the minister Yasmin Esquivel He added that regardless of the clarification, the defense may file an appeal, granted by law, against the protection granted by the Fourth District Judge in Civil Matters of Mexico City.
“The UNAM also did not challenge the various civil ruling where it recognizes Minister Yasmín Esquivel Mossa as the sole author of her bachelor's thesis, so this determination has caused a state,” concluded lawyer Romano Rascón.
