Xavi Hernández extends his contract with Barcelona until 2025
The Spanish strategist Xavi Hernandez extended his contract with Barcelona Soccer Club until 2025 with the option of one more year, the Spanish League club reported this Friday.
The 43-year-old coach arrived at Barcelona on a three-year contract after the departure of Dutchman Ronald Koeman at the end of 2021.
The former Spanish international has led the Catalan club in 96 games, with 61 wins, 16 draws and 19 losses.
Last season he achieved his first titles as head of the team by winning the Spanish Super Cup and leading the culé team to its 27th league title, the first in four years.
Xavi, trained in the Barcelona youth team, played 17 years for the Barça team, with which he won 25 trophies, including eight Leagues and four UEFA Champions Leagues, among many others, in 767 games.
