Woman given 24 years in prison for prostituting a teenager in Monterrey
A woman was sentenced to 24 years in prison after being found responsible for the crimes of corruption of minors and human trafficking in the form of prostitution of others in Monterrey, Nuevo León.
The State Attorney General's Office, through the Special Prosecutor's Office for Femicide and Crimes Committed Against Women, issued a statement on its website, where it announced the sentence handed down by a local judge.
At the same time, it was reported that, along with compliance with the preventive measure of freedom, the accused identified as Leydi “N” must cover the cost of the victim's psychological treatment.
The accused committed this type of violence since 2020 against a then 16-year-old girl, whom she took to different local hotels, where the crimes were committed.
Through this activity, the current inmate of a state women's prison benefited from the collection of various amounts of money, receiving cash payments from the teenager's attackers.
In addition to pointing out that the investigation carried out in this regard included evidence that could not be disputed by the defense, the Prosecutor's Office mentioned that the Public Prosecutor's Office persevered with its position until verifying the participation of the accused as active in the crime.
Man arrested for stabbing in Guadalupe
A man identified as Víctor “N”, 46 years old, was arrested on October 12 in Guadalupe, Nuevo León, after his alleged participation in the murder of a 43-year-old man in this same municipality.
It was on July 4, 2022, when the current detainee and another subject who is currently at large stabbed the victim named Santos with a knife, while he was consuming alcoholic beverages with his son.
The family tried to take Santos to the hospital, however, along the way they suffered a road accident that delayed the rescue, which resulted in the death of the injured man whose body was transferred to the Forensic Medical Service, where death was ruled due to secondary hypovolemic shock. a penetrating sharp object wound to the abdomen.
