The blockade occurred near the Xochihuacan subdivision, in the municipality of Epazoyucan, where residents stated that there is a severe shortage of drinking water for several weeks without this having been resolved.

They stated that the problem is already arising from the fact that personnel from the Water and Sewerage Commission of Intermunicipal Services (Caasim) have not repaired the pump that supplies drinking water to the subdivision, stated Laura González Trejo, neighborhood representative.
He pointed out that the residents can no longer remain without the vital liquid, as he said that it is a basic need that must be addressed.
For this reason, the representative of the neighbors demanded that Caasim personnel go to the place to solve this problem.
