For his part, Michael Edison Hayden of the Southern Poverty Law Center tweeted that Musk was “bringing back the white supremacy big time and wants the whole world to know it.”

He listed a number of far-right and white supremacist figures, including the former leader of the Ku Klux KlanDavid Duke, whose accounts he indicated would be reinstated as a result of the measure.
