Will Smith breaks silence after Jada Pinkett's controversial statements

After a few days ago Jada Pinkett Smith was making strong statements about his relationship with Will Smith Regarding his complicated life, the “Hitch” actor has finally spoken out about it.

In accordance with The New York Timesthe outlet's newsroom received an email response from Will, who apparently told them that his wife's memoirs "kind of woke him up."

The newspaper detailed that he had realized that she is more "resistant, intelligent and compassionate than he had understood."

"When you've been with someone more than half your life, a kind of emotional blindness sets in, and you can too easily lose sensitivity to their hidden nuances and subtle beauties," the actor said.

And although the actress's revelations have upset many people in recent days, apparently The winner of the Oscar for Best Actor has not taken it this way and even seems to have downplayed the matter.

The only other notable thing about this Times interview is that Jada revealed she was hurt by Chris Rock's Netflix special where he made jokes about her and Will againand that she takes ayahuasca regularly, including a travel session with Will after the Oscars slap.

Last week Jada Pinkett Smith said that she and Will have been separated for the last 7 years, as part of his new memoir in which he clarifies many things.

Jada made the revelation on Wednesday in different interviews, one with People Mag and another with Today. In both, she admits that she and Will have been leading separate lives since 2016 and that even today they continue to live apart.
