Yami Safdie arrives with a new single, this time accompanied by the Spanish artist Álvaro de Luna with whom they present "Too Much".
This duet between the Argentine artist and the Spaniard came about thanks to the participation of both in a composition Camp organized by Warner Music in Madrid, where they were able to meet and find the verses that built this song. However, Yami let her fans guess who the collaboration of this new single would be with through her networks where she shared her first verses.
“Too Much” is a ballad that deals with the insecurities that can arise in a relationship. On the one hand, Yami's verses refer to anxious attachment where one is always needing the other. While Álvaro sings from the place of avoidant attachment, where on the contrary one shows a little more distance. “It talks about the vulnerability and insecurity of showing that side to the other in a relationship, and all those fears that can arise even with a healthy relationship,” Yami commented.
The song comes with a video clip included directed by Ornella de Virgilio, where both artists are seen in the process of creating and recording the song in the studio, with some shots of the two of them walking the streets of Madrid together. Also, like a large part of its themes, the song was produced by Coco.
Yami comes from being in Spain where he not only participated in the Camp where he met Álvaro and other artists, but also had the opportunity to sing "El Bolero" with Milo J in one of the singer's recitals. The year of the Argentine artist continues with many more musical projects and presentations. Without going any further, this Friday she will be singing at The LAMC festival in New York, where she and Trueno are the only artists representing Argentina. Likewise, in November she will also be part of the Primavera Sound line up.
