War in Russia: This is how the "torture chambers" of the Russian army denounced by Ukraine | Videos
Dmytro Lubinets, Commissioner for Human Rights of the Ukrainian Parliament, has shown in the video that accompanies this news the discovery of a torture chamber used by Russian forces in the Kherson region. The space, used according to his complaint for arrests and interrogations, resembled a small room in which up to 25 people were kept at a time. Investigations carried out by his department have indicated that Vladimir Putin's soldiers tortured Ukrainian prisoners with electric shocks, beat them with iron bars and broke their bones. Russia denies that its troops attack civilians or that they have committed these atrocities.
In the video you can see the shocked statement of Lubinets by the "scale of torture" in the region. The commissioner has also ensured that the discoveries made by the Ukrainian forces are different from those found in the kyiv or Kharkiv regions. “I have never seen such a scale and have personally visited all torture centers in different regions of Ukraine. The scale is simply terrible ”, he underlined. Other war crimes have been discovered in the Izum, Mariupol and Bucha regions, where numerous mass graves were found with hundreds of civilians piled up.
Ukrainian Interior Minister Denys Monastyrskyi announced on national television that investigators have exhumed 63 bodies with signs of torture in reclaimed areas of Kherson on Thursday. Monastyrskyi has revealed that 11 detention centers operated by the Russians have been discovered during the period in which they controlled the area, retaken since November 11.
