Emergency rescuers from Hatay, southern Turkey, found a Syrian refugee child under the rubble of a collapsed building on Wednesday, after the 7.8 earthquake on the Richter scale that occurred in Turkey and Syria last Monday. Little Muhammed Ahmed was in good condition when he was discovered by volunteers during the rescue efforts.

In the video that accompanies the news, you can see how one of the members of the rescue team gives the little boy water to drink with the help of a bottle cap, after Muhammed was trapped for 45 hours since the earthquake that struck hit the country. While the rescuers hydrated the little boy, while they tried to get him out of the ruins without harm, the boy smiles gratefully with every drop of water he drinks, while the joy shown by the volunteers is heard when they see the little boy's reaction. The mayor of Istanbul, Ekrem İmamoğlu, has described his emotion on social networks when he saw this video: “Well done, Muhammed. Our search and rescue team rescued Syrian citizen Muhammed Ahmed from the rubble in Antakya."
