Venezuelan President receives the Colombian Foreign Minister | News
The President of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, received this Tuesday the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Colombia, Álvaro Leyva, for a working meeting within the framework of the bilateral agenda.

The meeting was held at the Miraflores Palace, the seat of the Executive in Caracas (capital), with the aim of "strengthening bilateral relations and reviewing the strategic cooperation agenda between the two nations," reports a Presidential Press release.
Through his account on the social network Twitter, the head of state described the meeting with the Colombian foreign minister as pleasant.
"We share our willingness to continue strengthening efforts for the unity and development of the brother nations," he stressed.
Relations between the two nations were reestablished in various areas with the arrival of Gustavo Petro to the Colombian Presidency.
"Both countries promote a new era of relations with the signing of agreements in core areas such as trade, migration and border security, betting on cooperation and integration to consolidate significant progress for both peoples," highlighted the Presidential Press.
