Venezuelan President delivers Cacique Chaima oil clump to workers | News

The president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, delivered this Wednesday the Cacique Chaima oil clump, made up of 50 wells, whose resources will be allocated to the National Fund for Social Benefits of workers.

Located in the state of Monagas (northeast), this cluster has an extension of 4.6 hectares, being the largest in South America, and has a production of about 9,000 barrels of oil per day, according to a Presidential Press release.

The head of state stressed that the delivery of the clump is so that "all its production and all the resources generated here go directly to the National Fund for Social Benefits of the workers of Venezuela, in a special account opened at the Bank Central of Venezuela, to benefit the workers and workers in all its national magnitude".

In addition, he assured that this clump is setting the tone, being "the example for the recovery of all the productive capacity of Venezuelan oil, which we are going to take to its maximum expression with the professional, scientific and hard work of our working class".

The president emphasized that, since the arrival of the Bolivarian Revolution, oil wealth has been converted into health, education, housing, wages, and benefits for workers, adding that they are healing the wounds of the economic war and the "savage and criminal against Venezuela".



"We, with our own investment model, work, with our science, with our professionals and workers, will recover step by step and definitively the productive capacity of the Venezuelan oil industry, to put those wealth at the service of the rights of the people, of the right to work, salary, health, education, housing, food," he said.

On the other hand, he ratified the commitment to continue the fight against corruption and requested the support of the working class to continue confronting "the mafias, the bandits, the corrupt, wherever they are, whoever falls."
