Venezuela receives 69 tons of medicines from China | News
The Venezuelan Ministry of Health confirmed this Sunday the arrival at the MaiquetÃa International Airport of a total amount of 69 tons of medical supplies from China, which demonstrates the strengthening of bilateral relations.

According to the health authorities, the Venezuelan airline Conviasa transported medicines, medical-surgical material, dentistry and supplies for the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
With this recent arrival, flight number 42 from the Asian giant belonging to the China-Venezuela Air Bridge is reached.

These actions are part of the effort of the Government of Venezuela to offer free quality health care to its people and a show of Chinese solidarity showing the union between both nations to combat the coercive measures imposed by the United States against the Latin American nation.
During the more than two years of the pandemic, the Chinese government offered help to the people of Venezuela in health matters, and ties between the two countries were strengthened in various spheres of development.
Even before the pandemic, China had offered its help to the Venezuelan government and people by sending health supplies, for example, in March 2019, 65 tons of supplies arrived in that nation.
