Venezuela demands the return of assets from its embassy in the US | News
Venezuelan Foreign Minister Félix Plasencia demanded this Wednesday the return of the diplomatic assets usurped in 2019 from that Latin American country in the United States (USA).

The leader of Venezuelan diplomacy urged the United States to "instruct the corresponding and responsible authorities, in respect of the rule of law of that country, so that diplomatic assets, the diplomatic headquarters, as well as the headquarters of our consulate general in New York.”
The official recalled that these goods were previously outraged, invaded, and stolen from Venezuelans; and today they are being destroyed.
The foreign minister stressed that these goods must be returned to the Venezuelan people and to the legitimate Government of Venezuela headed by President Nicolás Maduro Moros.
Plasencia also called on the Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, to follow the example of the Bolivian government, which recently recovered and returned a series of assets belonging to the Venezuelan diplomatic headquarters in the Andean country, which were stolen by alleged diplomats from the phony ruler, Juan Guaidó. , and sold while de facto president Jeanine Áñez was in charge of the Andean country.
In this sense, the foreign minister thanked the Bolivian president, Luis Arce, for the gesture, and applauded the work of the Andean country's police for their work.
In addition to the headquarters of the Venezuelan diplomacy (residence, consulate and embassy), Venezuela demands that Washington return other assets that were usurped such as works of art, documents and others, property of the Government and people of the Latin American country.
