The President of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, and the Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Ralph Gonsalves, met on Sunday at the Miraflores Palace in Caracas, where they reviewed various points of mutual interest in economic, social, and political matters.

We had a fruitful meeting, full of brotherhood, in which we reviewed the cooperation between both countries and the new alliances for the development of our peoples. Both peoples and governments have maintained ties of friendship and cooperation since October 29, 1981 and in recent years bilateral ties have been strengthened within the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America- Peoples’ Trade Treaty (ALBA -TCP)



Gonsalves has been in the Latin American nation for a week, after he needed to be treated for a health problem that afflicted him a few days ago.

The doctors, despite having found him in good condition, recommended that the 75-year-old premier undergo a complete medical check-up.

In addition to being treated for his condition, the San Vicente prime minister made a visit to the headquarters of Banco del Alba in Caracas, where he evaluated projects together with the president of the institution, Raúl Li Causi, and highlighted the role of the entity along the way. to the integration of the peoples of the region.

Among the points to be highlighted in this meeting at the Banco del Alba stands out what is related to the revival of Petrocaribe, an issue that has repeatedly occupied the agenda of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, who has expressed interest in enhancing this strategic alliance.
