Carlos Alcaraz The defense of the title of the US Open against Dominik Koepfer. Number one in the world and champion of this Grand Slam in 2022, the Spaniard will debut against the German, 78 in the ATP ranking, this Monday.

As the first seed of the tournament, Alcaraz would only face the Serbian in a hypothetical Final Novak Djokovic, second favorite and who returns to the US Open after missing last year's edition due to his refusal to be vaccinated against the coronavirus.

The Murcian defeated Djokovic in the Wimbledon Final but lost last week against the Serbian in the title match at the Cincinnati Masters 1000.

This is Alcaraz's path to the Final.

Meanwhile, Djokovic will start against the French Alexandre Müller (85) and for his part of the US Open draw. For example, the Danish Holger Rune (4) appears, who will debut in this tournament against the Spanish Roberto Carballés (64).

Also appearing as possible Djokovic rivals before the final are the Norwegian Casper Ruud (5), the Americans Taylor Fritz (9) and Frances Tiafoe (10).
