The Security Council of the United Nations Organization (UN) at the request of the Russian representation, will hold an emergency session this Friday to address the biological military activities of the United States (USA) in Ukraine.

Russia’s deputy representative to the UN, Dimitri Polianski, noted on his official twitter account that “the Russian mission has requested a meeting of the Security Council for March 11 to discuss US military biological activities in the territory of Russia. Ukraine”.

In this regard, the Russian Ministry of Defense revealed that the US allocated more than 200 million dollars for the operation of biological laboratories in Ukraine, where, among other research, experiments with the bat coronavirus are being carried out.

Its spokesman, Major General Igor Konashenkov, said that Moscow has detailed information on the implementation by the Pentagon on Ukrainian territory of a project to study the transfer of pathogens through wild birds that migrate between Ukraine, Russia and other neighboring countries.

“According to the documents, in Ukraine in 2022 the US side planned to conduct work on pathogens of birds, bats and reptiles with an additional transition to study the possibility of carrying African swine fever and anthrax,” Konashenkov said, while noting that the goal of these and other biological studies is to create a mechanism for the covert spread of deadly germs.

For its part, on the 8th, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced that it obtained documents from Ukrainian biological laboratories which “certify the urgent destruction of particularly dangerous pathogens of plague, anthrax, tularemia, cholera and other deadly diseases.”

In this regard, its spokesperson, María Zajárova, maintained that said actions were carried out to avoid discovering the “violations of article 1 of the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production and Stockpiling of Biological and Toxin Weapons, (CABT)”, for part of Ukraine and USA

This was recognized by the US Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs, Victoria Nuland, when she stated that there are “biological research facilities in Ukraine and that Washington is very concerned that Russian troops take control of them.”



Meanwhile, the head of the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Defense Forces of the Russian Armed Forces, Igor Kirillov, declared that a network of more than 30 biological laboratories operated in Ukraine, which were at the service of the Threat Reduction Agency. , a dependency of the US Department of Defense.

However, Olivia Dalton, a spokeswoman for US Ambassador to the UN Linda Thomas-Greenfield, said the Russian request is “exactly the kind of false flag effort that we have warned Russia could initiate to justify a biological weapons attack.” or chemicals.

To which the deputy ambassadors of the United States and the United Kingdom add that it would be Russia that could have used chemical weapons on Ukrainian territory.
