Two die run over in PG
Authorities in Prince George's County, Maryland, are investigating a hit-and-run accident involving a stolen Kia that claimed two lives early Wednesday morning, the 23rd. Officers were called to the area between Route 202 and the intersection with Old Landover Road around 2:30 a.m. from a two-vehicle collision, police said. Detectives reported that an unidentified person driving a Kia, which had been stolen from an Upper Marlboro home earlier that night, was heading north when it collided with a Toyota Camry that was trying to make a left turn onto Landover Road. Both vehicles caught fire. The driver and passenger of the Toyota, described as an adult man and woman, died in the collision. Their identities will be reported later.
