Two dead in an explosion at a metallurgical plant in Brazil | News
Brazilian authorities reported this Friday that at least two people died and more than ten were injured by the explosion in a metallurgical factory in the municipality of Cabreúva, in the state of Sao Paulo (southeast).

“Unfortunately, we had two confirmed deaths due to the explosion that occurred at a metallurgical plant in Cabreúva this morning,” said the governor of Sao Paulo, Tarcísio Gomes de Freitas, through his social networks.
The official specified that, of the total number of injured, at least ten are seriously injured and were transferred to hospitals in the region.
The report of the incident detailed that the explosion occurred at approximately 11:00 a.m. local time (2:00 p.m. GMT) in a furnace for melting aluminum.
For their part, firefighters and Civil Defense personnel went to the scene of the accident to care for the injured and those who survived the explosion.
13 vehicles and two helicopters were sent to the scene for rescue efforts. So far the cause of the explosion is unknown, but an investigation has already begun.
