Tremor today in Mexico October 6: a 6.3 earthquake was reported in Oaxaca

A 6.3 magnitude earthquake was recorded in Matías Romero, Oaxaca, the movement occurred at 11:06 p.m. It was noticeable in CDMX.

In the evening report of the National Seismological System, 11 earthquakes were reported starting at 12:00 p.m., most of them in Oaxaca and with a magnitude of less than 5.

At 12:05 p.m. it trembled in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, with a magnitude of 3.7 and a depth of 3.7 km.

More than half an hour later, an earthquake was reported in Coalcomán, Michoacán, with a magnitude of 3.5 and a depth of 2.3. The next earthquake occurred in Ometepec, Guerrero, at 12:14 p.m., with a magnitude of 3.5 and a depth of 15 km.

At 2:20 p.m., an earthquake occurred in Lázaro Cárdenas, Baja California, with a magnitude of 3.7 and a depth of 15 km. Nine minutes later there was another earthquake of magnitude 3.2 and depth 4.4 km in Pinotepa Nacional, Oaxaca.

In San Marcos, Guerrero, there was an earthquake of magnitude 3.7 and depth 47.2 km, at 2:53 p.m.

Also at 5:17 a.m. another earthquake was reported in Pinotepa Nacional, Oaxaca, with a magnitude of 3.4 and a depth of 14.1 km. Likewise, in Matías Romero there was an earthquake at 3:30 p.m. with a magnitude of 3.7 and a depth of 29.7 km.

There were two earthquakes of magnitude 4.1, one at 3:44 p.m. (in Tapachula, Chiapas) and another at 4:01 p.m. (Rio Grande, Oaxaca).

The last one reported was at 4:34 p.m., in San Blas Atempa, Oaxaca, with a depth of 37.3 km and magnitude 3.5.

In his morning report this Friday, the National Seismological announced that at 4:59 in the morning an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.8 was recorded. The earthquake was 42 km southeast of Sayula de Alemán, Veracruzwith a depth of 138.3 km.

According to the National Seismological Service (SSN), an earthquake was reported 102 km southeast of Salina Cruz, in the state of Oaxaca, with a magnitude of 4.3 and a depth of 16.1 km.
