Thunderstorms kill 10 in Punjab, Pakistan | News
Authorities from the districts of Sialkot, Sheikhupura and Narowal belonging to the Pakistani province of Punjab, confirmed the death of at least 10 people by electrical storms, which caused injuries to another six, due to the pre-monsoon rains in that country.
After the events, the acting Prime Minister of Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi, lamented the loss of life, and directed that medical services be provided to those who were injured.

According to the state-run rescue organization Rescue 1122, after heavy rains, thunderstorms hit several houses in Punjab districts.
According to the authorities, the injured were taken to nearby hospitals, while the rescue teams activated the alert.
Pakistani Climate Change Minister Sherry Rehman warned the population of possible flooding and landslides due to pre-monsoon rains, and urged people to stay away from vulnerable infrastructure, power poles and rivers.

For its part, the Government of Pakistan ordered all local departments to remain vigilant in the face of pre-monsoon rains and tourists were advised to exercise caution.
"Citizens are requested to stay away from vulnerable infrastructure, power poles and waterways during strong winds and rain to avoid any adverse incident," he said on his Twitter social network account.
