In a shocking incident in downtown Van Nuys in Los Angeles, two students were stabbed, with one of them in critical condition. The Los Angeles Fire Department reported that the incident took place around noon.

According to initial reports, It has been reported that one of the stabbed students is in critical condition. However, during a press conference, it was clarified that the injured students were taken to local hospitals and their lives are not expected to be in danger.
The Los Angeles Police Department responded to an emergency call reporting the stabbing of two or three students in the courtyard of the Van Nuys campus.
“Two, possibly three stabbed victims,” reported the call the police received, according to Melissa Ohana, spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department.
Alberto M. Carvalho, superintendent of the Los Angeles Unified School District, provided additional information about the incident. He stated that there is no imminent threat and that the situation is under control.
"A student pulled out an unidentified weapon at that time and stabbed the students," Carvalho said.
It has not yet been confirmed what type of weapon was used in the stabbings, but it was reported that three students have been detained and are being questioned by authorities.
