Thieves get away with $100,000 in gold coins in Houston area


TEXAS – Authorities in houston They are asking for help from the community to find the whereabouts of two men suspected of stealing more than $100,000 in gold coins from a vehicle.

Investigators from Harris County Police District 2 reported that the robbery occurred on September 28 in the parking lot of a property located at 11800 East Freeway at around 3 p.m.

Security cameras at the scene captured the two suspects breaking into several vehicles, one of which had the gold coins, before fleeing in an unknown direction.

A $5,000 reward is being offered through Crime Stoppers for information leading to the capture of the suspects.
