Councilor William Fory was murdered this Sunday afternoon in the El Guabal sector, between Guachené and Puerto Tejada, in Cali.

The politician was intercepted by several suspects who shot him three times, leaving him seriously injured.
After the attack, the man was taken to the Valle de Lili Clinic, where he finally lost his life.
The commander of the Police in Cauca, Colonel Wilson Román Silva Rodríguez, assured that the crime occurred when the lobbyist was in his car. Apparently, “some subjects were trying to steal his vehicle and his belongings.”

After hearing the news, the mayor of Guachené, Milton Zapata, indicated that “with great sadness we received the news of the death of Councilman William Fory, a great leader who ensured the development of our municipality and the well-being of the community was murdered. "To his family a lot of strength to face this difficult situation, may our friend William guide us from heaven to travel the paths of Peace."
Councilor William Fory was a politician in the Radical Change party and aspired to be re-elected in the next elections scheduled to be held in October.
