Among the activities, a sit-in was also held in front of the Attorney General's Office to demand that the murders of peace signatories and social leaders not go unpunished.

In this sense, the protesters asked the entity to go further in the investigations and focus all the necessary forces to reach those responsible.

Likewise, the Government led by President Gustavo Petro is required to provide greater security guarantees to both social leaders and the signatories of the Havana pact.

The protester and member of Comunes, Manuela Marín recalled that there is a special investigation Prosecutor's Office created from the agreements to investigate cases of violence against peace signatories.

“We demand from Prosecutor Barbosa results in the investigations into violence against peace signatories and social leaders,” he said.

According to the Colombian Institute of Development and Peace Studies (Indepaz), 28 peace signatories have been murdered so far this year.

However, it is not only the murders that worry the signatories of the 2016 agreements; threats and harassment against family members and friends are also reported.
