The price of regular gasoline in Los Angeles County registers 20 consecutive days down

The price of regular self-service gasoline extended this Sunday to 20 days the streak of declines in Los Angeles County.

This Sunday, the average price of a gallon of gasoline fell to $5,805 dollarsaccording to data published on the website of the American Automobile Association (AAA).

The price of fuel fell two-tenths of a cent a day after posting a similar decline, according to information from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service.

During this 20-day streak, fuel is down 26.5 cents.

The 27th of March, ended a 32-day gain streak, when fuel hit a record high of $6.07 per gallon after adding $1,283 over that period.

The average price of regular gasoline is 6.2 lower than a week ago and 8.4 cents lower than a month ago, but $1,796 more expensive compared to last year.

In Orange County, gasoline fell 4 tenths of a cent to settle at $5,762 a gallon.a day after a 17-day losing streak totaling 26.5 cents ended up 2 tenths of a cent.

Regular gasoline in Orange County is 6.2 cents cheaper than a week ago and 8.9 cents less than a month ago, but $1,781 more expensive than a year ago.

AAA reported an average price of $5,709 in the state of Californiawhile at the national level it is $4,080 dollars.

This Sunday, only one county reported a price higher than $6 dollars for a gallon of gasoline, which is the case of Mono, with $6,539 dollars.

Glenn County, Northern California, reported the cheapest fuel price in the state at $5,280 per gallon.
