The majority of Metro users approve of the presence of the National Guard, affirms AMLO
Mexico.- In the framework of today's morning, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador once again defended the presence of the National Guard in the facilities of the Metro Collective Transportation System and even appealed to an alleged survey that maintains that 79 % of users approve the measure.
According to the president, in recent weeks a demographic study was carried out that included 4,404 interviews where 79% endorsed that the National Guard had a presence in the Metro; only 20.40% were against it.
“A survey was carried out the day after the decision was made. Don't you have it? Look at the poll. Do you agree or disagree with the presence of the National Guard in the Metro? Agree 79 percent, 4 thousand 404 interviews.
“People do want the National Guard to be in the Metro, those who use the Metro, those who use the metro every day, and it is obvious, it is logical, imagine if it is the main transport to go to work and there is an environment of insecurity where there can be accidents, what do people want? That there be safety”, concluded the president.
