The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) identified the freed soldier as Ori Magidish and released a photo of the reunion with her family, although they did not explain the circumstances or location of the rescue.
"The female soldier Cabbage. "Uri (sic) Magidish was released, during a ground operation, after being kidnapped by the terrorist organization Hamas on July 7," the IDF statement said.
