The findings that the asteroid sample from NASA's Osiris-Rex mission can reveal | International
This Sunday, NASA's Osiris-Rex capsule landed in the Utah desert after a seven-year mission in which it managed to collect the first samples of the asteroid Bennu.
Scientists hope that the information and samples collected on this trip will help them better understand the beginning of life on Earth.
The capsule was launched in 2016 and took two years to reach the asteroid. In 2020, using a special vacuum cleaner, he managed to collect dust and rock fragments from the surface.
After delivering its first capsule, NASA hopes to be able to send Osiris-Rex to another asteroid. The new voyage is forecast to take place until 2029.
