The death toll rises to 18 after a road accident in Oaxaca, Mexico | News
The Ministry of the Interior (Segob) in the state of Puebla, Mexico reported this Wednesday that the people killed in the car accident that occurred the day before amounted to 18 people.

"Derived from the accident that occurred on Tuesday, August 22, where a passenger bus collided on the Oaxaca-Cuacnopalan highway at kilometer 91, belonging to the state of Oaxaca, through the Oaxaca State Security Cabinet, chaired by its secretary of the Interior, Jesús Romero López, reported that the number of people who lost their lives increased to 18," said Segob.
Although the agency offered these details, they did not indicate the nationalities of the other two people who died after having reported 16 deaths, nor the new balance of injuries.

In the passenger bus, which collided with a tractor-trailer on the Tehuacán-Oaxaca highway, 52 people were traveling.
The Secretary of the Interior of Puebla, Javier Aquino, explained that some of the injured have serious complications, while he stressed that the attention has been as humane as possible and the immigration authority is in coordination with the Governor's Office.
According to a Twitter issued by the entity, on Tuesday 36 injured were reported and some of them are in a critical state of health.
Those affected were treated at the Tehuacán General Hospital and at the Health Center with Expanded Services (CESSA).
