The businessman Gustavo de Hoyos will not participate in the election process of the Broad Front for Mexico
Businessman Gustavo de Hoyos He announced this Sunday that he will not register in the elective process called by the Broad Front for Mexicoto seek the presidential candidacy in 2024.
Through a video on his social networks, De Hoyos highlighted that the rules reduce the competitiveness of applicants from outside the parties, since "the method makes it extremely difficult to succeed in the participation of citizen profiles without partisan militancy and who do not count with prior public charge”.
He added that "achieving hundreds of thousands of digital supports in less than a month is a difficult barrier for an applicant to overcome for an applicant of citizen extraction who does not have formal political structures at their service."
The businessman regretted that "citizen demand to structure the process promptly, has determined that the mechanism has imperfections, as well as legal and political risks."
“I will continue working for the alternation in 2024. I will not register in the Broad Front for Mexico process, since the rules make applicants from outside the parties less competitive. I will promote affirmative actions so that social leaders can access candidacies ”, he explained.
