The Argentine Festival celebrates its 35 years on May 21 in Virginia

With the good news of having been recognized by the Ministry of Culture of the Argentine Republic as the Argentine Festival of Cultural interest

For his work of promote Argentine culture, Includes a day-long celebration of Argentine culture, with Latin American exhibitors, and many celebrated musicians from the US and abroad.

This year Festival Argentina 2022 will be held at the Kenmore Auditorium, 200 S. Carling Spring Rd., Arlington, Virginia.

This is an opportunity for the public to experience traditional Argentine culture.

By highlighting tango and other well-known rhythms such as the milonga, and featuring artisans and food and craft vendors, the festival seeks to broaden public understanding and enjoyment of Argentine culture.

Vendors at Exhibitor Fest will offer jewelry, soccer jerseys, and fine art—perfect early summer gifts!

This year’s billboard begins with FABRICIO RODRIGUEZJavier Colli, Ernesto Cuello folk singer, as well as Alexandra Marie, who has performed at the main music festivals in Argentina and Europe.

Ambassador Jorge Argüello or another representative from the Argentine Embassy will be ready to accompany everyone at the 35th Argentine Festival from 3:30pm-10:30pm.

This Argentine Festival is a dream come true for gourmet lovers.

The choripanes, empanadas and alfajores from Argentina will be in the DC Metropolitan Area at the Argentine Festival.

The uniqueness of the choripán is a testament to its rich and tender flavor. Arlington County protocol now that everyone does not need to wear a mask inside the theater and building if they choose, as well as the performers during the performance.

The use of masks in the theater is optional, stay tuned for the latest before May 21, 2022.

The event is for the benefit of the Primary School No. 1 Pascuala Mugaburu in Mar del Plata, Argentina, for the maintenance and/or scholarship of its students.

Along with musical performances, the festival will include vendors and artisans of traditional trades, ranging from jewelers to weavers.

Activities before the music include boys ideas and thoughts on the “Qatar World Cup 2022”, outdoor family football from 2 to 5 pm, and from 4 to 6 pm Tango classes, folklore lessons and “Sonrisas y Lagrimita”, a children’s show. There is free parking and a raffle included in the admission ticket.

During the Festival, a Round Trip flight from Washington, DC to Buenos Aires will be raffled off, courtesy of Copa Airlines. And then there is the food! May is the month of the Argentine National Revolution of 1810, and at the festival you can buy authentic Argentine empanadas, choripan and alfajores at Pampa’s Fox restaurant.
