The American idol Rubens Sambueza says goodbye to Mexico; he signed with a team from Argentina
Rubens Sambueza ended a long journey in Mexicosince for the first time in 12 years he signed with a club that is not from the MX League.
After a successful step with UNAM cougarsthe club that made him known in the Aztec country, America and Toluca, Mainly, the player that many remember with the cream-blue jacket decided to return to his native country, Argentina, but not before saying goodbye to all the people who supported him during his adventure in Mexico.
Through his official Instagram account, “Sambu” said goodbye to the country in which he lived from 2007 to 2008 and then from 2009 to 2022.
“Today after so many years in Mexico, it is my turn to say goodbye and thank you for all the love that I and my family received. They were beautiful years in which I enjoyed a lot, I gave my maximum effort and my dedication in each of the clubs that I had to play for”, explained the offensive midfielder, who signed with Deportivo Maipú in the second division of Argentina over the weekend.
“I met wonderful people colleagues, managers, props, cooks, nutritionists, psychologists, doctors, kinesiologists (...) My respects to all the fans who always supported me and showed me their love. I hope to see you soon at some point in my life, I will miss you. Your friend Sambu sends you all a big hug”, concluded the player whose last team in Argentina was River Plate.
