The Rio Health Secretariat reported that the young woman died at 8:50 p.m. on Friday (11:50 p.m. GMT) after feeling unwell and suffering from cardiorespiratory arrest inside the Nilton Santos stadium, where the show, part of the Eras Tour, was taking place.

"Resuscitation maneuvers were performed, but he did not resist. At this time, the cause of death cannot be determined, which will be investigated," Rio's health secretary said in a note.

The death occurred at the same time that much of central and southeastern Brazil is experiencing oppressive and unusual temperatures for spring.
