Suspend Sunday day of Liga MX due to violence in Corregidora Stadium
The executive president of Liga MX, Mikel Arriola, announced the suspension of the Sunday day corresponding to the date 9 of the Clausura 2022, after the violent events that occurred in the Corregidora Stadium from Queretaro during the game between white roosters and Atlas.
"I am announcing the suspension of the remaining matches of Matchday 9, to be held this Sunday, in solidarity with the people affected in this Saturday's match and with the concern that these acts will not occur again," he said on Twitter.
Arriola condemned the violent events that occurred between fans of Atlas and Querétaro, which he described as serious.
He added that Liga MX, together with authorities and the state, are collecting all the evidence to guarantee a thorough investigation and act accordingly.
As one more action, he turned to the Disciplinary Commission of the Mexican Soccer Federation all the information to investigate the facts, under the premise of requesting "exemplary and unprecedented sanctions" for those responsible for the violent acts.

The Coordination of Civil Protection of the State of Queretaro (CEPC) reported that there 22 people injuredtwo of them serious.
