Steelers achieve narrow victory over Packers.

On a Sunday in which five teams (Arizona, Cleveland, Detroit, Houston and Seattle)achieved victory with last-second field goals (an NFL record), the Steelers also added to the drama by achieving a close victory over the Packers.

In a game in which two of the most legacy teams in the league were involved, the Steelers survived at home when Damontae Kazee intercepted a pass to Jordan Love on the last play of the game and thus achieved their fourth victory in their most recent five games.

With two games remaining in Week 10, nine of 12 games (75 percent) were within one possession (eight points) in the fourth quarter, and nine games were decided by less than a conversion touchdown.

Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren ran for a touchdown. Kenny Pickett completed 14 of 23 passes for 126 yards for Pittsburgh (6-3). Warren finished with 110 yards from scrimmage (101 rushing, nine receiving) and Harris had 96 yards from scrimmage (82 rushing, 14 receiving).

Jordan Love completed 21 of 40 passes for 289 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions for Green Bay (3-6). Romeo Doubs and Jayden Reed each had a touchdown catch for the Packers, who have lost five of their last six games.

Pittsburgh won despite being surpassed in total yards (399-324) by Green Bay. The Steelers have been outscored in each of their first nine games.

The Steelers have won nine consecutive one-score games dating back to last season. Their six wins so far in 2023 have been by eight points or less,

Green Bay had a chance to win in the final minute. The Packers got the ball at their own 19-yard line with 59 seconds left and no timeouts, and drove to the Steelers' 16-yard line with four seconds left. Love was intercepted by Steelers cornerback Damontae Kazee.

Neither team scored a touchdown during a second half dominated by these organizations' defenses.

THE BOYS REPEAT DOSE TO THE GIANTS

In the first week of the season, the Cowboys beat the Giants 40-0 on their visit to New York, yesterday at home they beat the Big Apple team again.

Dak Prescott threw for four touchdowns and ran for another. Prescott completed 26 of 35 passes for 404 yards and was intercepted once. He has now thrown for at least 400 yards and four touchdowns three times in his career, setting a Dallas franchise record.

Brandin Cooks and CeeDee Lamb split the Giants' secondary, with Cooks hauling in nine receptions for 173 yards and a touchdown. Lamb finished with 11 receptions for 151 yards and a touchdown. Rico Dowdle led the Cowboys rushing attack with 79 yards.
