Efectivos del Ejército de Israel mataron este miércoles a un joven palestino durante una redada en la ciudad de Nablus, al norte de Cisjordania ocupada.

A través de un mensaje publicado en sus redes sociales, el Ministerio de Salud palestino confirmó el deceso de Mohamad Abdulhakim Nada, quien al morir contaba con 23 años.

La cartera precisó que recibió un disparo en el pecho durante enfrentamientos con las fuerzas ocupantes en el campamento de refugiados de Al Ain, en la mencionada ciudad, adonde los soldados ingresaron en la madrugada y rodearon una casa.



Agregó que el joven presentaba estado crítico al llegar al centro de salud adonde lo trasladaron de urgencia y falleció poco después.

Por su parte, el Ejército de Israel informó que detuvo a 32 palestinos durante operaciones que llevó a cabo en la madrugada de este miércoles en varios lugares de Cisjordania.

Aunque no ofreció precisiones sobre víctimas, el ente castrense refirió que sus soldados dispararon al aire para supuestamente dispersar a palestinos que protestaban en el campamento de refugiados de Al Ain.

Sin embargo, medios palestinos reportaron que la incursión ocurrió en medio de intensos disparos, lo cual despertó la indignación y el repudio de jóvenes palestinos presentes allí.

Este asesinato ocurre un día después de la muerte de tres palestinos en Nablús tras un supuesto intento de ataque desde un vehículo, hecho que el portavoz de la Presidencia de la Autoridad Palestina, Nabil abu Rudeina, calificó de crimen de guerra y otra expresión de la política de castigo colectivo a la que es sometido el pueblo palestino por la potencia ocupante, dijo el funcionario.
