A small plane rammed an SUV as it made an emergency landing Saturday on a highway north of Las Vegas, sending three people to a hospital as a precaution.
The Nevada State Police indicated that the two-seater plane had mechanical problems and had to land on federal highway 95. The agency posted photos on Twitter that showed the broken windshield of the SUV after being hit by the wing of the aircraft.
Authorities reported that the people had injuries that were not life-threatening.
One southbound lane remained open while authorities conducted their investigation. Authorities have not provided further details.
