Multiple people were injured in a shooting after an altercation outside a restaurant in South Florida, police said.
It was not immediately clear how many people were hit by gunfire Thursday night, but the Miami Herald quoted a law enforcement source as saying up to 10 people were shot outside The Licking restaurant in Miami Gardens.
Detectives are investigating reports that video was being recorded at the restaurant, Miami Gardens Police Chief Delma Noel-Pratt said. “We believe it is an isolated incident,” she added.
Miami Gardens police spokeswoman Diana Gourgue told reporters she could not confirm reports that up to 10 people were injured, but that no one was killed.
